Everything is online: The future of education:-

Almost every industry, including education, has been transformed by the technological revolution. In recent years, the concept of conventional education has been largely replaced by the concept of online education. Physical classrooms were halted and the world was shifted to an online mode of information during the nationwide lockdown, which lasted from kindergarten to colleges and institutions. There are various modes available for online education like Google Classroom, Khan Academy, BYJUs, etc. which students are using for their educational resources. The most significant advantage of online learning is that students can access information from anywhere in the world without having to travel to a physical classroom.

Let's take a look at the good aspects of online education and see what kinds of opportunities and benefits students can get from it.

A Good Contact Network:- Online Learning provides a golden opportunity for learners to interact with students across nations. In many online competitions, students are participating with worldwide students and building a strong network.

Helps in Career Opportunities:- The online mode of learning gives a chance for managing and organizing a planned study timetable so that students can focus on imparting and enhancing their skills which will help them in the advancement of career opportunities.

Various Mode of Learning:- The internet is a treasure trove of information, and online learning allows you to explore and expand your knowledge by utilizing available resources.

Economical:- Online Learning is cost-effective than conventional modes of education. For example, you can take your classes from any place with the help of your device without any transportation costs for attending physical classes.

Aside from that, there are certain disadvantages to online learning.

Requires huge self-control and determination:- Because they had less accountability in online classes than in traditional classes, some students became disobedient. Students are held more accountable for their work in physical classrooms.

Lack of Personality Development:- The major goal of education is to help students develop holistically so that they can contribute to the benefit of society. However, this is where online education falls short. In comparison to offline classes, online programs offer fewer opportunities for personality development.

Increased Screen-Time:- According to a study, screen usage has climbed from 4.4 to 9 hours in the last few years as kids become increasingly reliant on electronics for their education. Students are experiencing sleep deprivation, neck and back problems, headaches, and other issues as a result of increased screen time.

Conclusion:- Because online learning has both benefits and drawbacks, we might conclude that the benefits of online learning have outweighed the drawbacks. It's also feasible that, with future technology developments, the disadvantages will be eliminated entirely.
